Weekly training session for slalom kayaking, based at the Harvie Passage. Sessions can be hosted at the Kananaskis river as well dependent on interest levels. This program is for paddlers who are confident independent paddlers. Instructors will be on the water to provide rescue support during the sessions but a confident whitewater roll is recommended.
To create an fun learning environment for experienced paddlers to test their skills in slalom courses and work on honing their paddling style. Difficulty of courses will be customized to the group & individual paddlers. Open sessions can be used to prepare the Alberta Slalom Cups as well as provincial & national championships. Talk with your coach during the sessions about your goals and we'll get there!

Must be an AWA member prior to start of sessions.
